Common questions

Does it really look like we're together?

It's a composite. We remove each background and place both of you on the same booth backdrop, so it isn't identical to standing side by side. It does look far more like one photo than a video-call screenshot.

Does the background come out clean?

Usually, but not perfectly. Fine areas like hair tips and gaps between fingers can be rough. Bright light and a plain background help.

What does AI polish do?

Live background removal sometimes clips a fingertip or smudges the space between fingers. AI polish fills those edges in and lightly evens out skin and lighting. It doesn't reshape your face — think of it as the touch-up a print shop does before printing. Each cut is processed separately so people don't get mushy.

Do I need an app?

No. Any browser with a camera works. Your friend just taps the link.

Can I shoot alone?

Yes. Solo shooting, picking and downloading are all free. Credits apply when you save it to your album to come back to later.

Where do the photos go?

By default they're only downloaded to your device. Sign in to keep them in your album. Photos with two people need both of you to agree before they're saved.

How much is it?

Shooting, previewing all 6 and downloading are free. Confirming a 4-cut strip together costs the host 10 credits; AI polish is 5.

Does the connection ever fail?

Sometimes. Corporate firewalls and some mobile networks can't link two people directly. Trying from another network (home Wi-Fi, say) is usually the quickest fix.

Is there a time limit on being together?

Yes. After shooting, the call on the result screen — decorating and chatting together — lasts up to 10 minutes. When it ends, only the call stops: you can keep decorating, saving and downloading your photos. If you leave the booth idle with no activity, it also closes after 10 minutes.
